RESUMEN: La presente investigación analiza las aproximaciones generadas a la práctica pedagógica del profesor cooperador mediante la incorporación del enfoque CTSA en el grado octavo de la Institución Educativa Barrio Santa Margarita. Se utilizó un estudio de caso intrínseco para examinar los cambios en las categorías de contenidos, planeación y evaluación. El proceso incluyó el diseño, validación y aplicación de un cuestionario tipo Likert al profesor cooperador al inicio y final de la investigación, explorando las categorías definidas desde el enfoque CTSA. A partir de los resultados iniciales, se desarrolló una secuencia didáctica colaborativa entre el investigador y el profesor, la cual fue validada por asesores y posteriormente implementada por el docente en su aula. Los resultados obtenidos durante la implementación se compararon con las prácticas habituales del profesor en términos de planeación, contenidos y evaluación. El análisis reveló que la incorporación del enfoque CTSA promovió una enseñanza más contextualizada e interdisciplinaria, al integrar contenidos científicos con implicaciones sociales, tecnológicas y ambientales. Asimismo, se evidenció un cambio en las estrategias de planeación y evaluación del profesor cooperador, quien conectó el aprendizaje con problemáticas reales, enriqueciendo su práctica pedagógica. En conclusión, el enfoque CTSA generó un impacto positivo al favorecer un entorno educativo más participativo, lo que refuerza su potencial como herramienta para la innovación curricular y la formación docente. |

En conclusión, el enfoque CTSA generó un impacto positivo al favorecer un entorno educativo más participativo, lo que refuerza su potencial como herramienta para la innovación curricular y la formación docente.ABSTRACT: This research analyzes the approaches generated in the pedagogical practice of the cooperating teacher through the incorporation of the STSE (Science, Technology, Society, and Environment) approach in eighth grade at the Barrio Santa Margarita Educational Institution. Using an intrinsic case study, changes in the categories of content, planning, and assessment were examined. To gather information, a Likert-type questionnaire was designed, validated, and applied to the teacher at both the beginning and the end of the research, focusing on the aforementioned categories within the STSE framework. Subsequently, a Didactic Sequence was collaboratively designed with the cooperating teacher, validated by the research advisors, and implemented by the teacher. The results were compared with the teacher’s usual planning practices. Finally, a narrative written by the cooperating teacher, reflecting on their pedagogical practice, was analyzed using ATLAS.ti software. All recorded information was examined through a matrix developed based on the three analytical categories and their respective criteria. The results indicate that incorporating the STSE approach enabled the teacher to broaden scientific content by integrating its social, technological, and environmental implications. This approach also fostered more contextualized and meaningful learning opportunities by connecting scientific concepts to real-world issues.
