RESUMEN: El objetivo del artículo es presentar una revisión bibliográfica, a modo de balance del periodo 2010-2020, sobre las tendencias y luchas de poder y saber del campo disciplinar y profesional de la pedagogía especial, en el trabajo con estudiantes autistas. Se trata de una investigación cualitativa en la que se identican recurrencias, énfasis y contradicciones en los textos revisados. A partir de una perspectiva crítica, se busca desnaturalizar ciertas hegemonías que impiden abrir campos de trabajo diversos que reconozcan la singularidad del estudiantado en el espectro autista. El principal hallazgo son las estrategias educativas alternas a la perspectiva conductual, que no conciben el autismo como un asunto patológico y que le apuestan a un trabajo educativo construido en el aula misma, a través del vínculo maestro-estudiante. |

This is qualitative research in which recurrences, emphases and contradictions are identified in the texts reviewed. From a critical perspective, it seeks to denaturalize certain hegemonies that prevent the opening of diverse fields of work that recognize the uniqueness of students on the autism spectrum.
