RESUMEN: El artículo recoge posiciones teóricas de autores que han trabajado la investigación-acción educativa y han planteado la tesis según la cual el maestro va elaborando, a partir de la reflexión en la acción cotidiana, su saber pedagógico. Esta aseveración es constatada con observaciones extraídas de un proceso de investigación de ocho años, en el cual docentes de distintos niveles de enseñanza se han dado a la tarea de reflexionar acerca de su práctica, transformarla, evaluar los cambios y elaborar un saber pedagógico apropiado. El artículo plantea tres tesis: que teoría pedagógica y saber pedagógico no es exactamente lo mismo; que el saber pedagógico es más individual que universal, y que la investigación- acción educativa es una herramienta que facilita la elaboración del saber pedagógico. Al final presenta generalizaciones extraídas de casos de investigación-acción pedagógica realizados entre 1998 y 2004, que apoyan la tesis de la construcción de saber pedagógico por parte de los docentes. |

Al final presenta generalizaciones extraídas de casos de investigación-acción pedagógica realizados entre 1998 y 2004, que apoyan la tesis de la construcción de saber pedagógico por parte de los docentes.ABSTARCT: This paper puts gathers theoretical positions of authors that have worked in educational action research and have stated the thesis according to which teachers put together their pedagogical know-how based on their thoughtful analysis of every day action.This assertion is verified with observations drawn from an eight-year research project in which teachers from different stages of teaching have devoted themselves to reflecting about their teaching practice, transforming it, evaluating the changes and elaborating an appropriate pedagogical know-how. Three notions are put forward from start:that pedagogical theory and pedagogical know-how and not exactly the same thing; that pedagogical know-how is more an individual, rather than a universal, matter; and that educational action research is a tool that facilitates the construction of pedagogical know-how.
