RESUMEN: La presente investigación analiza las contribuciones al Aprendizaje Significativo Crítico (ASC) de los estudiantes sobre el concepto de ambiente cuando se diseña y se construye colectivamente un Aula Popular Ambiental “APoA” en espacios verdes de la Institución educativa Fontidueño Jaime Arango Rojas, teniendo en cuenta problemáticas ambientales propias del contexto. La metodología que se desarrolla en la práctica pedagógica y en su posterior análisis está enfocada en la investigación social cualitativa que pone especial atención en las voces y aportes de los diferentes actores en su compleja manera de observar, sentir, pensar y actuar frente a las realidades. Además, la Investigación-Acción es el método seleccionado debido a las acciones colectivas que benefician a la comunidad desde un ejercicio dialógico, cooperativo y reflexivo donde la teoría y la práctica se entrelazan para construir conocimientos que favorecen la transformación de las situaciones que afectan el ambiente con el fin de lograr un posible ASC sobre este concepto. Entre los resultados relevantes se destaca la participación activa de los estudiantes y algunas personas de la comunidad educativa que en un esfuerzo mancomunado transforman una parte del territorio institucional, intercambian saberes y experiencias de vida que les permite reconocerse como parte fundamental en las relaciones armónicas con el ambiente atendiendo a su visión sistémica. De este modo el APoA busca propiciar espacios alternativos al salón clase que aprovechan los beneficios que brinda la naturaleza en el aprendizaje del estudiante desde tejidos colectivos para trabajar en la resolución de problemáticas ambientales presentes en su contexto. |

The methodology developed in the pedagogical practice and its subsequent analysis is focused on qualitative social research that pays special attention to the voices and contributions of the different actors in their complex way of observing, feeling, thinking and acting in front of the realities, also the Action-Research is the selected method due to the collective actions that benefit the community from a dialogic, cooperative and reflexive exercise where theory and practice are intertwined to build knowledge that favor the transformation of situations that affect the environment in order to achieve a possible ASC on this concept. Among the relevant results is the active participation of students and some members of the educational community who, in a joint effort, transform part of the institutional territory, exchange knowledge and life experiences that allow them to recognize themselves as a fundamental part of the harmonious relationship with the environment, taking into account their systemic vision.
