Este acercamientopermitió dilucidar que la enseñanza de las ciencias sociales, especialmente la historia, seha quedado relegada a la mera enunciación de fechas y datos pretéritos que poco interésprovoca en las estudiantes, que además no logran apropiarse de estos saberes. Partiendode lo anterior, el pensamiento histórico es una alternativa que le otorga una finalidadclara y precisa a la enseñanza de la historia, la cual resignifica el estudio del pasado paraconstruir una conciencia histórica. Es así, que mediante el análisis documental dealgunos de los materiales educativos de docentes y estudiantes (como entrevistas,planeaciones, cuadernos y observaciones) se indagó por la presencia de las habilidadesdel pensamiento histórico. |

Likewise, the students played a very important role in the inquiringmethodology of their learning processes. The latter allowed us to elucidate that thefocus of the teaching of Social Studies, especially History, is only the mere expressionof dates and past facts, that not only provoke little interest in them, students, but also notacquired by them. In view of the foregoing, the “historical perspective”, as analternative, grants the teaching of History a clear and accurate purpose, which bringsback the study of the past to create a historical awareness.
