Summary: | OBJECTIVE: To determine the attitude of teachers around the inclusive education of deaf students in two educational institutions in the city of Cartagena. METHODOLOGY: The present research is descriptive cross-sectional observational, because the teaching population was approached in a single moment, in which a survey was implemented and its results and interpretation depend on a statistical analysis. which aims to determine the attitude of said teachers in the classroom with deaf and normal hearing students. A directed non-probability sampling was carried out in order to select teachers and students who will participate in the study voluntarily. A survey for teachers will be applied as an evaluation instrument, the data were tabulated and coded with Microsoft Excel, they were exported in a statistical package SPS2.0 (StatísticalPackageforthe Social Scences) in order to find the descriptive data mean, median, mode, standard deviation and frequency tables were made with the central data. RESULTS: When conducting the investigation of studies of the communicative exchanges between deaf students and teachers, within the classroom, it was possible to determine two factors in which they carry out an efficient educational inclusion process for students with disabilities, such as They are the disposition of the teachers, the availability of time for planning an adequate study program and the necessary resources for them to be implemented, such as training and qualifications, in order to develop the potentials required to carry out the teaching process among deaf students efficiently. CONCLUSION: Through the study and evaluation of the attitude of teachers regarding inclusive education, it represents a parameter of vital importance when wanting to implement this process in any educational unit, the point of view of educational personnel must be known, as well such as the methodologies that are implemented in this case, in order to determine if it is possible that it is a process that meets the particular needs of this educational population. |
