Summary: | The objective of this work is to design an improvement plan for the reduction of waste of raw material for the extrusion of Soy in the company AGROSEM SA based on the DMAIC tools of the Lean Six Sigma methodology, in order to reduce the waste that They are presented at the time of soybean extrusion. Taking this into account, a measurement variable was taken on the percentage of waste. Waste directly affects the company in its costs, since the waste generated by the soy process cannot be recovered because it is exposed in the environment (soil, air, among others). Due to this problem, it is decided to evaluate each solution alternative proposed in the project to reduce the percentage of waste to 7% having an average of 9.23% and the last data gives 7.67% and positively impact the costs of the operation. In the measure stage, a format is created in order to be able to collect the necessary data and thus be able to get a strong base for our project.Subsequently, with the data obtained and with the analysis tools we managed to achieve the root causes of our project, in order to achieve waste reduction, finally after making the improvement, the before and after comparison is compared in order to demonstrate the change . |
