Summary: | Given the decrease in enrollment of new students at the University of San Buenaventura Medellín, a research is conducted with information provided by the University of San Buenaventura Medellín of the student enrollment income statistics from the years 2009 to 2017; where a gradual decrease is noticed, we decided to carry out an analysis of the causes on the decrease of enrollments of new students of the University of San Buenaventura Medellín, in our theoretical framework we gave great importance to marketing and its different branches of action such as academic marketing, relational marketing, BTL marketing, to understand the behavior of the academic market and be able to give conclusions of the decrease of new enrollments at the University of San Buenaventura Medellin. The research methodology that is implemented is qualitative since it produces descriptive data. Some results that the investigation showed were that enrollment has decreased for the following reasons: form of payments and financing, lack of development of ICTs, low costs of other universities, social problems and environment for youth |
