Description
Summary:To develop mathematical logical thinking, of children, is made from the implementation of connectionism as a pedagogical strategy. For this, this work aims to verify the practices of teachers who guide the subjects of the logical-mathematical to see the possibility of stimulating this type of thinking through connectionism and its impact on training processes, enhancing their Creativity, in the Garden and first grades, Centro Educativo Paso a Paso, Centro Educativo Rural Urbano Ruiz y Hogar infantil Pentagrama. This study then had a qualitative design, therefore it allows the clear description, focusing on the phenomenology, for its intentionality to explore, describe and understand the experiences of the people. The information was collected from techniques such as non-participant observation, unstructured interview and focus groups. The main results show that the teaching-learning processes for mathematics are changing over time and, although this is not enough, it means that more teacher training is required. In the same way, these processes are based on teaching through games and literature, allowing the development of some mathematical concepts and, when implementing connectionism, this is revealed as a strategy that calls attention to children, location in space, the tracking of logical sequences and the strengthening of memory. Thus, this strategy allows the creative development of children and enhances the development of mathematical thinking
