El presente proyecto de investigación es un estudio de las condiciones generales en relación con la importancia que tienen los recursos de la inversión pública y privada en el desarrollo económico y comercial de la actividad turística del departamento de Chocó, la investigación tuvo como referente el modelo de clúster de Cristina Varisco, que busca analizar la mejora de la calidad de vida de las personas por medio del desarrollo local y de la conformación de aglomeraciones productivas, incrementando las inversiones para que de esta manera se pueda potencializar la economía, la oferta turística y los niveles de productividad. Para el desarrollo de esta investigación se abordó un enfoque cualitativo tipo descriptivo, donde se realizó una revisión documental y el análisis de la información a partir de categorías como lo son los factores de producción, organización socio-territorial, cadena de valor, niveles interacción sector turismo, inversiones y recursos públicos y privados y la actividad turística en el departamento del Chocó. Lo anterior permitió plantear estrategias que promuevan un turismo sostenible seguro e innovador aprovechando la diversidad de recursos naturales, y adicional un buen manejo de los recursos financieros que permitan el reconocimiento del departamento a nivel internacional, y el sector turístico sea de las principales y más grandes fuentes de ingresos y desarrollo educativo, económico, comercial y social del Chocó. |

The investigations take as reference the Cluster model by Cristina Varisco which indicates that is possible to improve life quality of people through local development and productive agglomerations to increase investment and potentiate the economy, productivity levels and tourist offer. For the development of this investigation we focus in a qualitative and descriptive analysis, doing a documental study and analysing categories such as production, socio-territorial organization, value chain, levels of tourist interaction, investment, public-private resources and tourist activity in the Chocó department.
