Este estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar los desafíos y oportunidades de la implementación de IA en estas empresas, identificar las principales barreras que enfrentan y proponer estrategias efectivas para facilitar su adopción. El barrio Restrepo es conocido por su actividad manufacturera y la concentración de MiPymes, lo que lo convierte en un contexto relevante para analizar cómo las nuevas tecnologías pueden transformar el sector. La investigación se centra en comprender cómo estas empresas, que a menudo enfrentan limitaciones financieras y tecnológicas, pueden beneficiarse de la IA y qué obstáculos deben superar para integrar estas tecnologías de manera exitosa. El enfoque que tendrá esta investigación es cuantitativo y será fundamental para para evaluar su nivel de conocimiento y preparación para la adopción de IA. Además, se llevó a cabo una encuesta por empresa con cada uno de los propietarios y gestores para identificar barreras específicas y oportunidades. El estudio revela que las principales barreras para la adopción de IA en las MiPymes del barrio Restrepo incluyen la falta de recursos financieros, la escasa capacitación en tecnologías avanzadas y la resistencia al cambio. No obstante, también se identificaron oportunidades significativas, como la posibilidad de mejorar la eficiencia operativa y reducir costos mediante la automatización y el análisis de datos. This research addresses the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MiPymes) in the manufacturing sector in the Restrepo neighborhood in the city of Bogotá. This study aims to evaluate the challenges and opportunities of AI implementation in these companies, identify the main barriers they face and propose effective strategies to facilitate their adoption. The Restrepo neighborhood is known for its manufacturing activity and the concentration of MSMEs, which makes it a relevant context to analyze how new technologies can transform the sector. The research focuses on understanding how these companies, which often face financial and technological limitations, can benefit from AI and what obstacles they must overcome to successfully integrate these technologies. The approach that this research will have is quantitative and will be essential to evaluate your level of knowledge and preparation for the adoption of AI. Additionally, a survey was conducted per company with each of the owners and managers to identify specific barriers and opportunities. The study reveals that the main barriers to the adoption of AI in MSMEs in the Restrepo neighborhood include lack of financial resources, limited training in advanced technologies, and resistance to change.
