The following is a conceptual and contextual presentation of the definition of administrative processes such as: Planning is the process of setting performance objectives. and determination of the actions that must be carried out to achieve them. Through strategic, tactical, and operational planning, a manager identifies the desired work results and equalizes the means to achieve them in the different levels of the company or organization, allows managers and all the people of the organization, involved in the activities businesses to make decisions and define strategies for their best development. Organizing is the process of assigning tasks, distributing resources, and arrangement of the coordinated activities of individuals and groups to implement plans. Throughout the organization, administrators turn plans into actions by defining jobs, assigning staff, and support you with technology and other resources. Direction is the process by which the enthusiasm of the company is aroused. people to work hard and direct their efforts towards the fulfillment of the plans and achievement of goals. Through the management of the administrators build commitments, encourage activities that support goals, and influence other people to do their best for the benefit of the company, allowing the execution of everything planned around a course of action. Finally, control is the measurement process of organizations, seeks to endorse the above processes, in order to establish standards and follow-up actions to the objectives of the development of the organization In the same way, three (3) chapters are presented, in which a detailed description of each of the elements of the administrative process: planning, organization, direction and control, determining, characterizing and identifying the impact of these in the companies of the city of Tuluá, in the most preponderant sectors and in their different sizes large, medium and small in the last 5 years.Los procesos administrativos radican en desarrollar estrategias encaminadas a lograr el buen desempeño de cualquier organización, se habla acerca de la planeación, así como la dirección, la organización y control, como aquellas elementos y/o factores que permiten dimensionar las estructuras empresariales, en pro de su mejoramiento, de sus perspectivas competitivas y/o de productividad, siendo estos factores los que coadyuvan a que las empresas, se adapten de manera significativa a los cambios del entorno, ya sea desde las perspectiva del mercado, de las políticas y de las exigencias de la globalización. A continuación se presenta de manera conceptual y contextual la definición de los procesos administrativos como son: La planeación, es el proceso de establecimiento de los objetivos de desempeño y determinación de las acciones que deberán realizarse para lograrlos. A través de la planeación estratégica, táctica y operativa, un administrador identifica los resultados de trabajo deseados e iguala los medios para alcanzarlos en los diferentes niveles de la empresa u organización, permite a los gerentes y a todas las personas de la organización, involucrados en las actividades empresariales a tomar decisiones y definir estrategias para su mejor desarrollo. Organización, es el proceso de asignación de tareas, distribución de recursos y disposición de las actividades coordinadas de los individuos y los grupos para implementar planes. A través de la organización, los administradores convierten los planes en acciones al definir los puestos, asignar personal y apoyarlo con tecnología y otros recursos. Dirección, es el proceso por medio del cual se despierta el entusiasmo de la gente para trabajar fuerte y dirigir sus esfuerzos hacia el cumplimiento de los planes y el logro de los objetivos. A través de la dirección los administradores construyen compromisos, alientan las actividades que respaldan las metas e influyen en otras personas para que realicen su mejor esfuerzo en beneficio de la empresa, permitiendo la ejecución de todo lo planificado en torno a un curso de acción.
