La investigación se realizó en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la UCEVA y tuvo como objetivo identificar los factores que generan ansiedad en los estudiantes de medicina y enfermería durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Se utilizó la escala GAD-7 para identificar patrones de ansiedad en una muestra representativa de 215 estudiantes. Los resultados mostraron que el 82,3% de los estudiantes presentaron algún tipo de síntoma de ansiedad, con el 56,7% de ellos presentando síntomas moderados a graves. La vacunación para COVID-19 y el tratamiento psicológico durante la pandemia fueron efectivos en reducir el riesgo de desarrollar síntomas de ansiedad moderados a graves.
