Sistema Gestión de inventarios para la Comercializadora Procementos

The problem faced is inefficient inventory management at COMERCIALIZADORA PROCEMENTOS, which leads to product availability problems and high costs due to irregularities at supply points. To solve this problem, it is proposed to implement an inventory management model that includes a classification system, an inventory policy and the use of a basic and free technological tool for control. The requirements for the inventory management model include the ability to classify inventory efficiently, establish clear policies on the amount of stock to hold, and use a basic technological tool for inventory tracking and control. Regarding the engineering standards considered in the project, the best inventory management practices must be considered, as well as the safety and quality standards related to the storage and transportation of the products. The products developed will include the implementation of the inventory management model, the configuration of the technological tool for inventory control and the descriptive documentation of the traceability of the new proposal. The courses whose contents will be applicable to the project include supply chain management, planning, scheduling and control of production, the design of productive systems and the formulation and evaluation of projects. During the development of the project, the team will acquire new skills and knowledge, such as the management of technological tools for inventory management, the study of the market to carry out demand forecasts and the implementation of agile methodologies in inventory management.Problem Statement
