Los hallazgos revelan que, aunque el marco legal ha avanzado hacia estándares internacionales, persisten problemas como falta de recursos, corrupción y limitada coordinación entre instituciones. Se concluye que es necesario fortalecer estos aspectos para ofrecer una protección efectiva y sostenida a los NNA frente a estos delitos. |

Through a qualitative interpretative approach, Law 985 of 2005, the Penal Code and the Palermo Protocol are analyzed, evaluating their effectiveness in prevention, punishment and assistance to victims. The findings reveal that, although the legal framework has advanced towards international standards, problems such as lack of resources, corruption and limited coordination between institutions persist.
