El manejo de estos defectos considera diferentes técnicas reconstructivas que incluyen injertos de piel, colgajos cutáneos, colgajo de epiplón, y colgajos musculocutáneos pediculados o libres de acuerdo a la composición del defecto resultante postresección. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo describir los resultados de la cirugía con amplio sacrificio de piel, resección de pared torácica y cobertura del defecto para el manejo de pacientes con cáncer de mama localmente avanzado o recurrente atendidas en el Instituto Nacional de Cancerología entre el 01 de enero de 2004 y el 31 de diciembre de 2012. |
