Colombia ha estado enfrentada a un conflicto interno alrededor de 50 años y aunque los diferentes gobiernos han invertido tiempo y recursos generando estrategias que pongan freno a dicho evento, ninguno ha sido ciento por ciento efectivo, sin embargo el país se sintió más cerca y con una alta percepción de seguridad tras las política de seguridad democrática del hoy ex presidente Álvaro Uribe Vélez, quien ofreció su confianza y respaldo por las acciones de la institución castrense, encargada por la constitución colombiana de velar por la defensa de la nación pues es la única que ostenta el uso legítimo de la fuerza del Estado colombiano. Las Fuerzas Militares en el gobierno de Uribe tomaron un rápido ascenso haciendo frente a las amenazas que se dan en territorio colombiano logrando importantes golpes a la estructura guerrillera sin embargo dichos éxitos están siendo empañados por los llamados falsos positivos, y con ello una guerra jurídica que pone en entredicho las acciones de la institución militar y sus hombres, oficiales, suboficiales y soldados. Así será necesario abordar también la cuestión del fuero militar tan discutida por muchos sectores en el país evaluando sus repercusiones o fortalezas ante estos eventos de guerra jurídica. |
