El proceso llevado a cabo fue producto de un interrogante y unos propósitos trazados por el investigador, quien asumió una metodología cuantitativa que le permitiera obtener unos datos en relación con las necesidades, expectativas y viabilidad financiera de la unidad de negocios, tanto en el contexto local como regional y nacional. También fue fundamental, soportarse teóricamente en las categorías conceptuales, propias de la temática que se plantea, las cuales son dilucidadas en el marco referencial y conceptual.This article is the result of a research project called "The polygraph offered from a business unit, a fundamental tool in security", the above given that the polygraph has been used worldwide for intelligence agencies, police, prosecutors, courts and private sector, then then this, no doubt, by the results that have been showing lately entities mentioned above, is taken as a research tool, essential and crucial processes to advance research related to integrated security so market is viable from a business unit. The process undertaken was the result of a question and some purposes outlined by the researcher, who took a quantitative methodology that would enable it to obtain some data regarding the needs, expectations and financial viability of the business unit, both in the local context regional and national levels.
