También refiere una polémica la cual es el objeto más representativo del presente análisis que esta direccionado en el Plan de Mejoramiento Vial del municipio el cual contempla la construcción de la Troncal el Cerro que según su proyección intervendría la zona suburbana y la zona de amortiguamiento del occidente del municipio, generando un deterioro al ecosistema de páramo y subpáramo que hoy día es regulador ambiental y climático del sector así como un detrimento cultural ya que el POT no incluye con claridad la conservación y la protección al Resguardo Indígena Muisca el cual es reconocido por el Incoder según el Acuerdo 315 del 2013.

Cundinamarca introduces a problem in regards to the POT, which is valid since 2000 according to the Agreement 017, about components of urban development and social interest, since there have been given greater importance to housing projects in strata 4 and 5 and consequently increasing poverty. Also it refers to a controversy, which is the most representative matter of this analysis and is aligned with the Road Improvement Plan of the municipality, which includes the construction of the main road of the hill, that according to its projection it would intervene the suburban and buffer zones of the town's western side.
