description El presente artículo muestra la importancia que tiene el plan de seguridad vial dentro de una organización la cual su principal actividad es el transporte de carga, con un enfoque a la identificación de requisitos básicos y mínimos los cuales tienen que cumplir cualquier persona natural que tenga relación con este medio. Este artículo presenta la importancia los estudios de seguridad que se les realiza a los operadores de tracto camión ya sean empleados y/o contratistas, identificando de igual manera los buenos comportamientos que tienen que optar para la ejecución de un buen servicio. Con el diseño de plan de seguridad vial la empresa tendrá unos estándares que permitan liderar sus esfuerzos en seguridad, mantenimiento y conductas ejemplares, aconsejando a sus funcionarios sobre la mejor manera de evitar accidentes.
