Se identificaron graves deficiencias en los medios de protección ofrecidos hoy en día para garantizar la integridad del levantador durante la ejecución del ejercicio de la prensa de banco. Razón por la cual se propone el diseño de un sistema de seguridad enfocado hacia complementar la asistencia brindada por parte del observador y el equipo de protección disponible para el desarrollo de este ejercicio. Lo anterior llevado a cabo de conformidad con una metodología de diseño apropiada para la conformación de un producto que cumpla con los fines planteados. A través de dicha metodología se consolidó la propuesta de un diseño mecánico y uno electrónico, mediante los cuales se reduciría en gran medida el riesgo de lesión durante la ejecución del ejercicio hipertrófico muscular de la prensa de banco. |

Hence the design of a securuty system is proposed, focused onto complementing spotters assistance and the protection equipment provided. The previous thing carried on through an appropiated engineering design methodology towards satisfying the aims presented.
