Description
Summary:The following article shows a comparison that describes average competitive education level in countries like Finland, South Korea, Unites States, Chile, Argentina and Colombia. For the Colombian case, an analysis is performed in terms of coverage and quality, based in the results of PISA test for an international level and Saber 11 for the Colombian studies, showing unfavorable results for Colombia because of an important lag with the Asian countries, which base their education in contributing a greater share of GDP in research and development with strong public policy and being not vulnerable to their government ́s interests of control.
