| Summary: | With the passing of the years the world has seen the irreversible damage caused to the environment by human hands in their quest to achieve greater industrial, social, economic development, it has exploited the natural resources not previously afford to assess the damage caused and and propose ways to eliminate or at least reduce the impact generated by their actions in the different existing ecosystems. However gradually it is becoming more aware of coming to partake in the care of the planet, from simple everyday actions at home, to the formulation and implementation of policies and strategies by governments actors. The social relevance which has been environmental protection in recent decades, has clearly taken the business world to be environmentally responsible by adopting widely accepted concepts such as corporate social responsibility have provided new and important fields of action strategic opportunities, coupled with interest in contributing to social and environmental improvement. |
