| Summary: | In this document he excelled as the mechanisms adopted at the state level to visualize an impact assessment of the implementation of the MECI (Standard Model of Internal Control) providing a structure for controlling the strategy, management, and administrative institutions' assessment trying to solve the problems of lack of regulation and clarity in such public entities, however, but in Colombia all companies are required to implement, do to meet the standards but this tool in some became a dead letter because there is It puts to work, while in others it became vital basis for reducing the levels of corruption among public officials of the municipal authorities. That is what stands out in this paper that the Internal Control Standard Model MECI is generating values such as honesty, transparency and others which are applied against corrupt practices in some municipal entities of the country. This kind of tools that require the current government, allow progress in the control of public management that has very good image precisely by the inaction and lack of sense of institutional belonging. |
