Description
Summary:Public Private Associations refer to an agreement between the public area and the private sector in which some of the responsibilities or services that are obligations of public actors are provided by individuals, based on arrangements in which priority, are the provision of services or public infrastructure. From this reference framework, the general objective was to analyze the model of Public Private Associations in the transport and mobility sector of the national order, between the years 2014 and 2022. The research was supported by a bibliographic design, documentary type, level descriptive. The technique to be used will be content analysis since the main source of information was 5 contracts that were signed under the figure of Public Private Associations in the field of transport and mobility. The conclusions reached by the author is that all the contracts signed in the modality of public-private associations in the period 2014-2022 were carried out by individuals without public resources, which shows the importance of maintaining and promoting these practices. In these five projects, almost half of the inhabitants of Colombia benefited (46% of the total inhabitants according to the 2018 census, DANE). The executed works facilitate the mobilization of merchandise in a large part of the country and access to important urban centers (including Bogotá, D.C.). On the other hand, the executive (at all levels) must consider within its management the possibility of carrying out PPPs. This as an integral part of a managerial vision in which social programs are prioritized so that public resources are invested in them and grant concessions to private companies for the construction of road and mobility solutions.
