This topic has been selected taking into account the situation in the country for several years now and it is unfortunate to know that many people can not afford their medications in a timely manner due to the high price of them . Health in Colombia has become a business for both pharmaceutical companies as well as distributors and long chain passing drugs to reach people , sick people who only desire to get relief , but unfortunately many sometimes this relief does not arrive and many patients die simply for not having large sums of money it costs to treatment, the Government of Colombia in the last five years has implemented measures to mitigate the negative impact they have had high drug prices both patients common , and public spending , as the medicines with high prices in the Colombian market are considered drugs nO POS , ie , that are not covered by the Compulsory Health Plan , which generates the EPS ( Health Promoting Entities ) deny them the provision to patients in need who must recurir the Guardianship legal instrument , to have a judge order the EPS the supply of the drug , at which time pending the outcome of this case processed patients may aggravate or die for the belated supply of the respective drug, then the EPS effect the recovery of the drug to the State pays them through the FOSYGA . |
