Summary:The purpose of this essay is to analyze the application of the PTA Todos a Aprender program as a national public policy for the department of Boyacá, an educational program that emerged in 2011 under the administration of former president Juan Manuel Santos, a program that seeks to increase learning outcomes of students in basic education, especially in grades 3 to 5 of primary school, through on-site strategies that create and share networks of experience on the part of tutors, where they can transmit their knowledge already learned, throughout of their work as educators, analyze the evaluation figures and results by the tests know, mechanism where you can measure the true scope of the program. After making a panning in terms of public education policy developed by the Colombian government, to explain how far these policies have had and if their applicability, it can be mentioned that the strategies designed to achieve a high quality education, not only in the large cities but also in rural areas, where the government has not invested all its efforts so that children in areas of difficult access, have a prosperous future through quality education.
