Después de realizar una revisión bibliográfica, se identificó una gran oportunidad para disminuir los costos administrando de forma correcta las compras indirectas. Lo anterior implica que se comprenda en todos los niveles de la organización, que el área de compras indirectas no tiene como función comprar por comprar, sino que por el contrario, la administración de las compras indirectas requiere una gran cantidad de habilidades y know-how por parte de los gerentes de Compras como; análisis de datos, la gestión del cambio, experiencia en las diferentes categorías, negociación y administración de proveedores, contratos, etc. Y lo anterior se logra construyendo un área de compras indirectas con procesos robustos, estructurados y estandarizados.Currently, entrepreneurs do not have visibility of the cost of buying goods and / or services to perform the daily operations of the business and consider that these indirect purchases do not add value to the generation of money "the finished product". After carrying out a bibliographic review, a great opportunity was identified to reduce costs by administering indirect procurement correctly.
