Razones por las cuales Colombia no es ajena a la situación, encontrando que es de relevancia favorecer y promover la incorporación y uso del biocombustible en el sector aeronáutico del país como aporte a la política medio ambiental y favoreciendo la reducción de la huella de carbono existente actualmente; se hace necesario implementar el desarrollo de este producto con su gran potencial a nivel mundial, por ser un lugar con diferentes climas y tierras favorece la siembra de caña azúcar y de las plantas necesarias para la producción de biocombustible.
