This leads us to conclude the usefulness and importance of different techniques in the traditional teaching of physiology.El aprendizaje basado en problemas (ABP) como técnica didáctica útil en medicina en especial aplicada a ciencias clínicas de esta profesión, hace que surja el cuestionamiento de la utilidad de esta herramienta para el aprendizaje significativo de la fisiología médica, que como asignatura básica biomédica, es principal en la formación del médico, por esta razón se ha realizado una búsqueda de artículos y estudios donde se evidencia la efectividad de estas formas de enseñanza aprendizaje, sustentándonos en las teorías y formas de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de medicina y ciencias.
