The garbage collection system in the Capital District: Public management between the private and the public

The analysis of the impact regarding the management of the public resources in the introduction of the new garbage collection system in Bogotá, designed by the mayor of Bogotá, Dr. Gustavo Petro, was a demonstration that despite of the benefits of this scheme, to run and introduce this kind of system generates such big effects in Bogotá D.C. In order to support what we have claim above, this document contains a study of the effects that the application of new garbage collection system had in Bogotá, for both private and public parties, as well as the participation that was given to the city recyclers community
