description La seguridad en las unidades residenciales de Bogotá se ha convertido en un tema crítico debido al incremento en delitos de intrusión y hurto, afectando la calidad de vida de los residentes y la reputación de las empresas de seguridad. Este incremento se asocia a factores socioeconómicos como el desempleo, la migración no regulada y fallas en las políticas públicas. En este contexto, el uso de Big Data se presenta como una herramienta esencial para predecir y mitigar riesgos, ya que su análisis permite identificar patrones delictivos y optimizar la asignación de recursos, facilitando una respuesta más rápida y precisa frente a emergencias. El documento propone transformar el enfoque tradicional de seguridad hacia uno proactivo y predictivo, integrando tecnologías avanzadas como cámaras inteligentes con alarmas integradas, sistemas de inteligencia artificial para monitoreo en tiempo real y mejoras en las barreras perimetrales. Asimismo, se plantea la integración de la norma ISO 31.000 y la ISO 31010, para estructurar y profesionalizar la gestión de riesgos a partir de datos masivos y metodologías de análisis, enfatizando además la necesidad de capacitación y profesionalización del personal de seguridad. Aun cuando la aplicación de Big Data y las nuevas tecnologías ofrece oportunidades significativas para reducir la percepción de inseguridad y mejorar la respuesta operativa, su implementación enfrenta desafíos como la resistencia al cambio, la limitada inversión y las deficiencias en capacitación. Se requiere, por tanto, una coordinación estrecha entre autoridades, empresas y comunidades para transformar la seguridad en las unidades residenciales, permitiendo así una gestión integral y eficiente del riesgo, que no solo brinde soluciones tecnológicas, sino que también promueva la participación activa y la cohesión social.

This increase is associated with socioeconomic factors such as unemployment, unregulated migration, and public policy failures. In this context, the use of Big Data is presented as an essential tool for predicting and mitigating risks, as its analysis allows for the identification of crime patterns and the optimization of resource allocation, facilitating a faster and more accurate response to emergencies. The document proposes transforming the traditional security approach to a proactive and predictive one, integrating advanced technologies such as smart cameras with integrated alarms, artificial intelligence systems for real-time monitoring, and improvements to perimeter barriers.
