description El presente trabajo se elaboró con el fin de analizar en qué consiste la responsabilidad civil del transportista en caso de existir un accidente aéreo, bajo que normatividad se regula dicha situación, en relación a que si bien es cierto existe una legislación para este caso en particular, en ocasiones no es clara los derechos a que tienen las victimas por los daños causados en la prestación de este servicio aéreo. Se realizó un estudio explicativo y el método de investigación fue analítico, con el fin de establecer las causas y consecuencias de los accidentes aéreos, los cuales en caso de producirse determinar quién debe responder por los daños causados.
