description La presente investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar la factibilidad de la tercerización del almacenamiento de empaques plásticos, teniendo en cuenta las ventajas y desventajas y demas aspectos que intervienen en dicho proceso. Para esta investigación se realizaron entrevistas con algunas empresas del sector de empaques plásticos, con la que se busca identificar los puntos criticos a tener en cuenta en una implementación. Es importante revisar el crecimiento que han tenido los operadores logisticos, que se han convertido en un factor diferenciador que proporciona ventajas competitivas a sus clientes. Se pretende que esta investigación sirva de apoyo a las empresas que esten pensando implementar procesos de tercerización para aumentar su competitividad en el mercado.
