En este sentido, se plantea como objetivo en este escrito reflexionar sobre el componente de formación en humanidades junto con el aprendizaje que tienen los profesionales en enfermería. A partir del análisis de los componentes de formación profesional, de algunas normas colombianas vigentes relacionadas con la formación del profesional en el área, de vivencias personales de la autora, planteamientos de asociaciones profesionales y algunos elementos conceptuales. Se logra plantear que la formación humanística es un componente de gran importancia para la formación profesional, ocupacional y laboral de las y los enfermeros.

Se logra plantear que la formación humanística es un componente de gran importancia para la formación profesional, ocupacional y laboral de las y los enfermeros.The professional practice of nursing requires, to a great extent, a training component in the humanistic area which invites to reflect on the professional training focused on the merely technical -knowing how to do- and orienting a training towards -knowing how to be-. In this sense, the objective of this paper is to reflect on the humanities training component in the curricula of nursing professionals. Based on the analysis of the components of professional training, some current Colombian regulations related to the training of professionals in the area, personal experiences of the author, approaches of professional associations and some conceptual elements.
