The purpose of this essay is to answer the question of Is Internal Control important as a monitoring and follow-up mechanism in the production processes of Intendancy Battalion No 1 "Las Juanas" ?, Battalion that is in charge of producing elements of intendancies for the National Army. And as the internal control system is a tool to control and monitor compliance with the institutional objectives set for the production process. Allowing confidence to our internal client with high quality products and meet the needs requested by the Army Units.El sistema de control interno es una cultura organizacional establecida para todas las entidades públicas o aquellas entidades particulares que tengan funciones específicas, para la implementación y sostenimiento, el gobierno ha establecido la implementación del MECI “Modelo Estándar de Control Interno” la cual es una herramienta gerencial que tiene como fin servir de control de controles para que las entidades del Estado logren cumplir con sus objetivos institucionales y con el marco legal aplicable a ellas. El presente ensayo tiene como fin dar respuesta al interrogante de ¿Es importante el Control Interno como mecanismo de vigilancia y seguimiento en los procesos de producción del Batallón de Intendencia No 1 “Las Juanas”?, Batallón que se encarga de producir elementos de intendencias para el Ejército Nacional. Y como el sistema de control Interno es una herramienta de control y seguimiento al cumplimiento de los objetivos institucionales trazados para el proceso productivo.
