| Summary: | Efficient public management constantly seeks to develop a capacity both to improve its management, and to promote spaces for participation, this always aimed at the provision of goods and services with social impact to the community This continuous improvement in the Public Administration is achieved by strengthening management instruments, as well as coordination between institutions. For this, a methodological instrument was consolidated that allows the implementation and evaluation of a single management system. In this sense, the Integrated Planning and Management Model was established, It is a frame of reference to direct, plan, execute, monitor, evaluate and control the management of entities and public organizations, to generate results that respond development plans and solve the requirement and problems of citizens, with integrity and service quality. (Decree 1499, 2017, art. 2.2.22.3.2) The municipal mayor of Madrid Cundinamarca in developing its commitment to continuous improvement, through Decree 123 of 2018 adopted the Integrated Planning and Management Model, in order to strengthen its procedures. This essay then focuses on analyzing the dynamics of its implementation and maintenance, to determine the factors that have been determining factors when it comes to achieving its mission in improving the Institutional Performance Index. |
