El manejo consciente y evaluado de esas emociones y sentimientos es la base del concepto de la inteligencia emocional. Estas bases pueden ser utilizadas también por las empresas para identificar los puntos frágiles con respecto a la motivación y al desarrollo del talento humano, mientras que brinda los mecanismos necesarios para encontrar en el ser humano la fuerza y el conocimiento necesarios para afrontar y promover estados mentales motivantes. Un estado emocional motivante promueve las ideas, y por ende colabora en el proceso de creación y desarrollo de estrategias dentro de las empresas; un empleado motivado se encuentra en un ambiente propicio para crear e innovar.
