The average age of the company is highly correlated with the ranking of social responsibility that they have. After this analysis, it appears that there is some correlation between CSR and financial performance of companies.El objetivo de este ensayo es dar a conocer el porqué un tema tan importante dentro de los negocios internacionales y el comercio exterior no ha sido tenido muy en cuenta por las empresas latinoamericanas, a diferencia de las empresas europeas que están poniendo en práctica la RSE dentro de sus estrategias de negocio. La relación entre la responsabilidad social corporativa y el desempeño financiero es examinada con una nueva metodología. La edad promedio de las empresas se encuentra altamente correlacionada con el ranking de responsabilidad social que estas tienen.
