Description
Summary:At present, the Colombian State faces great challenges that require it to seek public policies, processes, and methods that allow for the eradication or mitigation of drug trafficking in Colombia, demonstrating with facts that the implementation has been successful. For this reason, we are seeking to reveal how public policies established in Colombia have influenced the fight against drug trafficking during the period 2016 to 2018. This document shows how effective the implemented policies are, seeking continuous improvement to eradicate the development of drug trafficking and related crimes. The public policies are born from the need for the Colombian state to intervene in controlling the crimes that may occur and that generate an effect on society, this as a consequence of the lack of economic, social, and cultural resources.
