La gestión ambiental incluye una amplia variedad de prácticas, tanto obligatorias como voluntarias (es decir, sistemas de gestión ambiental y evaluación del ciclo de vida). Sustainable development has been included in industry agendas, and several national and international initiatives have developed frameworks for sustainability. Environmental management includes a wide variety of practices, both compulsory and voluntary (ie, environmental management systems and life cycle assessment).
