description En este ensayo crítico argumentativo, a partir de una revisión bibliográfica, consulta de documentos y artículos, se hace una aproximación a las competencias que se presentan en el seminario investigativo de la Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, una descripción fundamentada en varios autores sobre medios y mediaciones pedagógicas a través del uso de las TIC, para posteriormente proponer la pertinencia de fortalecer las competencias investigativas en los estudiantes de la especialización en docencia universitaria, a través del uso de las mismas, teniendo como horizonte que la investigación es una tarea que el docente transversaliza con relación a sus prácticas pedagógicas en el aula, por ende, al acudir a los medios y mediaciones pedagógicas para el desarrollo de las competencias investigativas puede hacer que el ejercicio académico responda a las expectativas del mismo de manera contextualizada con el desarrollo de las TIC, fortaleciendo el seminario investigativo como una oferta coherente con los medios y mediaciones pedagógicas actuales.

investigative seminary of the Nueva Granada Military University, a description fundamentated on different authors about intervention of pedagogic through the TIC, so after we propose the strength the investigative competitions on the students of the specialization on university teaching through the use of these, having as a horizon that the investigation is a Duty that the teacher mainstreams with a relation from his pedagogic practices on the classroom therefore attending pedagogic mediation to develop of the investigative competition can be made through academic exercise answer to
