description Las actividades antrópicas que se realizan día a día en la vida de cada una de las personas, generan diferentes tipos de residuos sólidos, donde algunos se pueden incorporar a su ciclo de vida aunque muchas veces no se realice el tratamiento adecuado, por lo tanto se presenta toneladas de residuos en los rellenos sanitarios o lugares de disposición final. En este articulo, se realiza una verificación del PGIRS del municipio de Yopal - Casanare con la Resolucion 0754, la cual indica la metodología que debe tener los PGIRS de los municipios en Colombia. Para lo cual, se realizo una revisión bibliográfica referente a la normatividad y se analiza los 8 ítems exigidos por la resolucion mencionada. para los pgirs. Se discute cada ítem, describiendo cumplimiento, falencias y propuestas de mejora. Finalmente, se puede concluir que el PGIRS de Yopal cumple con lo requerido por esta resolución, aunque presente ciertas falencias en su contenido y desarrollo en el municipio como la insufiencia para el manejo de los residuos aprovechables, implementación de indicadores ambientales en sus programas y proyectos, falta de gestión y planificación ambiental para el desarrollo del PGIRS en el municipio.

En este articulo, se realiza una verificación del PGIRS del municipio de Yopal - Casanare con la Resolucion 0754, la cual indica la metodología que debe tener los PGIRS de los municipios en Colombia. Para lo cual, se realizo una revisión bibliográfica referente a la normatividad y se analiza los 8 ítems exigidos por la resolucion mencionada. para los pgirs. In this article, a verification of the PGIRS of the municipality of Yopal - Casanare is carried out with the Resolution 0754, which indicates the methodology that the PGIRS of the municipalities in Colombia should have. To this end, a bibliographic review was made regarding the regulations and the 8 items required by the aforementioned resolution are analyzed. for the pgirs. Each item is discussed, describing compliance, shortcomings and improvement proposals.
