description El municipio de Cajicá se encuentra ubicado en el departamento de Cundinamarca y su zona rural conforma la gran mayoría de su territorio, por lo que aparte de su crecimiento poblacional y el incremento en las obras en la construcción de vivienda, continua siendo su principal actividad la agricultura. Este municipio cuenta con cuatro veredas que se denominan Canelón, Calahorra, Río grande y Chuntame, esta última posee una zona montañosa denominada la Cumbre. La cual tiene una variada altitud que se puede apreciar en la única vía de acceso que existe, debido a esto los habitantes y trabajadores de esta zona agrícola tienen constantes impedimentos para acceder en épocas de lluvias y realizar actividades cotidianas, lo que en repetidas ocasiones se convierte en impedimento para llegar a su hogar. Así las cosas se creó por parte de la administración municipal un proyecto de pavimentación de la vía de acceso a la cumbre. Al contar con los diseños para la construcción de la vía se procedió a la búsqueda y gestión de recursos, por lo que posteriormente se obtuvieron $ 2‟100.000.000 millones de pesos gracias a la tarea realizada por el alcalde municipal ante el instituto nacional de vías - INVIAS. Lo que dio inicio a esta importante obra de pavimentación. Con respecto a todo lo anterior en este artículo se realizará una descripción de la obra de construcción de la placa huella tratando temas o etapas como el contrato, diseños, construcción, entre otros.

People that works and lives there had constantly problems to get there in rainy season and they have to stop their activities in many occasions until the weather allows them to get back to work or back to their homes. The town administration created a paving project for the access path to La Cumbre. Once they had the designs for the pathway construction they proceed to search for resources.
