Impact generated to the general budget of the nation by payment of pension al congress

In recent years the Colombian government conducted its pension system reforms, with the need to eliminate the deficit and financial pressures. These reforms have had their orientation to guarantee the population a dignified old age in compliance with the guarantee of their rights, which are enshrined in the Constitution policy of Colombia in Articles 48 and 49. These Guarantees do not refer only to money, the conditions that must be generated by the state in economic and social areas that provide access to social security for all Colombians, within the same parameters equal and unique. The models adopted have guaranteed rights but could not be sustained over time,have not achieved full coverage, and sustainabilit, and sustainability gaps left in the regulations have contributed greatly. The policy objective is to streamline the system resources to produce tax savings.
