This is a first step towards continuous reflections that each person responsible for curriculum design should consider to promote more promising future, to be consistent with change and evolution of education and globalization. Therefore this research will focus on the analysis of the technical program curriculum in selling products and services meet the needs SENA and current Colombian market trends through the definition of curriculum, the curriculum in national history, the frame Colombian legal curriculum development, technical education in Colombia, technical education imparted by the National Service for Training SENA and occupational skills training.Las deliberaciones sobre los paradigmas de la formación por competencias laborales en la educación superior y el modo como se ha generado su diseño curricular con la evolución del conocimiento y los permanentes cambios tanto culturales como sociales, vislumbran nuevas necesidades de innovación en los desempeños humanos que favorezcan las cualidades y calidades humanas en la educación. Este es un primer paso hacia reflexiones continuas que cada persona responsable del diseño curricular debe tener en cuenta, para promover futuros más promisorios, que vayan acorde al cambio y evolución de la educación y la globalización.
