The aim was to examine the effects of the disease and the measures taken to combat it (e.g. social distancing and quarantines) on both the physical and mental health of people globally. The searches were mainly carried out in the Scopus database, with the purpose of identifying various studies and articles published between mid-2020 and early 2021 on the COVID-19 outbreak. The results show mental symptoms, economic problems and, in addition, a significant burden on public health that depends, to a large extent, on the emotional state of human beings.PregradoPsicólogaSin tabla de contenido19 páginasapplication/pdfMeneses Lozano, L.F. & Díaz, Y.V.
