Parque Ruta Vital: Impulsando la salud y conexión urbana en Ibagué

The project focuses on the revitalization of a section of the Mirolindo Canal in Ibagué, with the purpose of transforming it into a linear park. Its main objective is to improve urban connectivity by providing a safe and attractive corridor that connects key points such as the Manuel Murillo Toro Stadium, the University of Tolima, and the Estelar Hotel. This project also aims to enhance the quality of life for residents and promote tourism in the area. To achieve this, the project will address the lack of adequate public spaces and recreational areas along the canal, as well as issues of pollution and security. Strategies for rehabilitation and sanitation will be implemented to transform the area into an attractive and safe destination for citizens and visitors. Creating strategic connections between different zones of the project will be fundamental to fostering social cohesion and facilitating access to these spaces. Additionally, efforts will be made to strengthen the security of the area to protect the population from crime, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Renovations of streets, sidewalks, public spaces, and nearby green areas will promote a more positive interaction with the surroundings, ensuring the tranquility and safety of those who transit through the area. This comprehensive approach will not only beautify the city but also promote the health and well-being of its inhabitants.
