Then, a selectivity to hemicellulose degradation in rice husk was observed in P. ostreatus. A delignification of 9% was achieved in pre-treatment, which increased the rice husk digestibility up to 57%. On the other hand, the aqueous extracts obtained in semi-solid culture showed a dephenolization capacity. Accordingly, this sub-product of pre-treatment is suitable in bioremediation applications. Finally, an inhibition resistance of P. ostreatus was related to higher laccase activity and dephenolization capacity. Then, a limitation in delignification by this fungus was observed. In addition, the delignification process by enzymatic action has not been understood at all. This work, suggests high laccase activity is not necessarily high delignification percentages in pre-treatment.

En este trabajo, P. ostreatus fue utilizado en el pre tratamiento biológico en cultivo semi sólido. Con el fin de reducir la desviación estándar en la cuantificación de biomasa se estableció una técnica de inoculo. Resultado de este trabajo se encontró una selectividad a la degradacion de hemicelulosa por parte de P. ostreatus. Se alcanzó una deslignificación del 9% en 23 dias de pre tratamiento. Por otro lado, se observó que la fase líquida del cultivo tiene capacidad defenolizante, por lo que este subproducto del tratmiento puede ser usado en aplicaciones de bioremediación. Finalmente, se encontró que P. ostreatus es resistente a la inhibición que se puede asociar a la producción de lacasas.
