Summary: | The Flores y relicarios project is an urban event associated with both life and death, a place of transit that exists within the sepultural space. It is the territory of the trades that worship death and vindicate life in Los Mártires through ceremonies that are linked to the notion of transcendence. The materials used are a reflection of checks and balances, so some will last in time associated with the concept of the eternal, while others mutate and fade. This is how the human need for the infinite is sought within the fragility linked to the body. Architecture connects with art to allow people to lose themselves in searches that go beyond the tangential. This has the purpose of becoming a common place where one day, like an ordinary act, oneself wanders among tombstones, gardens and mist. |
